We decided to take a trip to the new Living Planet Aquarium down in Draper. Thinking if we went on a Friday morning it wouldn’t be as crowded. Well, it wasn’t as crowed, but that’s not to say there was no crowd. The Parking lot was FULL. We had to park in the second lot. But we can see why, this place is pretty cool. It has penguins, sharks, jellyfish, stingrays, turtles, and features a walk through aquarium. A lot of stuff Corbin is to small to appreciate yet, and its funny cause he seemed to be more interested in all the kids that were there than the sea life. It seemed like most of our time was spent pointing and saying “Corbin! Look! Look…look look!”, but even so, we all had a good time.

We always talk about how Corbin can zone in on one thing. This video demonstrates how he can be in front of a huge aquarium, and focus on a tiny fish the size of Nemo, and not even notice a giant stingray passing in front of him….

This next video mainly just shows the penguin exhibit that is at the aquarium. Not a lot really happens in it, just a bunch of birds standing around.

The aquarium is pretty neat. Multiple levels, walk through tunnels, it’s a good time. If you can just avoid the crowd.

This post dedicated to Grandma-Great Cannon, who always taught us to appreciate nature and take the time to enjoy it when you get the opportunity. We love you Grandma Great!
